Creating an outpost1/11/2023 When making this outpost or house, I modeled multiple parts separately such as the roof, door, walls, garage, and basement. I used techniques with modifiers such as moving and connecting edges and faces together to create multiple sections for walls and door spaces to create a fit interaction between pieces. It was difficult fitting the pieces together due to exact positioning and scaling but figured out by matching schematics.

Modeling a house1/4/2023 When making a house in 3ds Max, the tools in editing polygons came back to me such as "bevel", "inset", and "extrude". I did not struggle as much compared to working with the fire hydrant, but proportionate sizes within the houses became difficult. I overcame these problems by taking my time and using different camera angles like right, left, front, and orthographic. I learned how to make better windows and how to make them more realistic, and became more comfortable.
Modeling a Fire Hydrant1/4/2023 When making a fire hydrant in 3ds Max, some techniques came back to me such as using tools under editable poly and using edges, faces, and vertexes to manipulate the object. I struggled with making sure the faces and edges were aligned correctly to create realistic parts on the hydrant. I overcame these problems by managing or when it became unmanageable, I went back and tried different solutions. I learned how to use the modifier list better and a lot of old techniques came back to me.
My Role10/26/2022 My name is Jaidon Green, and my skills contain creativity and organization, these can be very beneficial to the role of a level designer. I personally really like the idea of designing levels, from formatting and organization to designing. I understand what makes good gameplay and how to entertain certain groups. My skills can help the team in design and overall gameplay.
Designing Levels5/20/2022 Pre-Production - When first making this, I wanted to make a surrealistic map with creative environments. I started with designing what assets and object I wanted in levels to add gameplay and visuals. I made a rough draft of a legend containing these assets, and a rough draft of the map. Finished Level Maps - The player would move around levels in first person around a house with 3 leveled floors, each floor a level. Each level will have enemies you will have to hide from using obstacles like couches, crates, and tables. You are looking for objectives to proceed to each floor. How this will immerse you - The enemies and you can run fast, running throughout a cramped small house bringing thrill and scare to the game, also creative environment for visual enjoyment. Personal Reflection 5/13/225/13/2022 Over the past quarter, I have learned C# and its major importance. I learned how to debug and write scripts with very specific organization and key words, this creates unique and specific animations and actions to create a successful lively game. We are using "Unity Learn" and mission pathways to learn to create scripts and understand it. In my personal experience, I find this one of the most confusing and overwhelming part of creating games, I have barely gotten better at it by watching the tutorials but hope to become more skillful at it.
Junior Programmer Mission 3 Reflection5/13/2022 I learned OOP and its purpose in this process of coding. In general, it helped codes become more adaptable and understandable, creating better organization in scripts and codes. During the process, I learned how to demonstrate the 4 pillars of OOP, also make a title screen containing different names and subjects This makes coding more understandable and helps me become more aware and skillful at coding.
Junior Programmer Mission 2 Reflection5/13/2022 When doing this mission, I learned how to debug and anticipate errors on scripts. This makes my scripts for games more accurate to prevent or fix errors with the game which can make the game more fluid, less buggy, and better overall. I also advanced my concepts and conceptual designs like making a crate that slides horizontally to catch balls. This combines my creativity and technical skills creating an actual project, this will definitely help me down the road with comfort ability and skill in coding. These lessons or practices helped me further my skills to become better at coding.
Counting Prototype - https://play.unity.com/mg/other/catch-the-balls-3 Junior Programmer Mission 1 Reflection5/13/2022 I learned a lot from this mission in unity learn, I learned specific commands and components in C# to move, react, and more to create life and animation into games. I still find this very confusing and overwhelming and barely mastered or gotten comfortable with remembering and using/creating scripts on my own. I got enough information about making games and scripts from this mission, like the specific keywords to use to cause a specific attachment or action to the game. My overall experience was confusing and overwhelming but hope to keep growing at this subject and become better.
How I remade my board game3/18/2022 We had an assignment a few months ago, I finally decided to correct my game to get a better grade. At first I redesigned my actual board game using Photoshop and applying the square box tool to create a house-like layout, this took the entire class to accomplish. Second I redid my cards which represented the skills/actions. I also used Photoshop to make the cards but first for making this piece I designed a singular card layout. The layout consisted of the attacks and damage, but none of these details were filled. I created a new file which was printed paper size and copy and pasted the layout 9 times across the canvas. I designed each card layout with their own specific drawings of the enemies, and each of their own attacks and damage. Finally, I grabbed a random chocolate box and used my sisters black paint and smeared it all over the box and used it as my game board box. I managed to print and turn these very late.
